Hope the visit goes well, especially seeing you won't be able to run and hide :-) Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sorry about your accident and I surely hope the pain is not too intense, but I need to thank you for validating my excuse for slothfulness. I always knew cleaning was bad for your health.

Are you nuts, it is not spring yet! But at least you get to sew, sew, sew now. I am so happy to see someone find the good in a bad thing! My friends call me Pollyanna because I am always finding the good things in everything. Hope you don't mind, but I said a prayer for you. Do what the doctor says and let that dust collect around the threads on the floor, it is your time to sew, sew, sew!

I broke my left wrist washing walls 15 years ago. The step stool tipped when I reached too far. Had to have surgery and pins & an outer frame on it. Doc said to keep my fingers moving, so I crocheted and did counted cross stitch, and jig saw puzzles. Couldn't sew.

Sorry about your accident, but at least it was your left leg. A few years ago I broke my right ankle. Had a dickens of a time learning to use my left foot on the sewing machine peddle!! I'm getting ready for a total knee replacement on - again - my right leg. Will have to learn to use the left foot on the pedal again.
Hope you get lots and lots of quilting done while in your cast!!!
