ABsolutely, we all need to get up and walk around a little bit, do some stretches, whatever. It is so easy to damage back, arms, legs from sitting. I always get up to iron also instead of a pad on the table by my machine.

My quilting room is in an out-building, and yes, I do have mini fridge and microwave. Also coffee pot.

I am grateful every day to have such a nice large space.

If I put a frig or microwave in my sewing room, I'd probably never come out, except to go to the bathroom :-D

Nope, I'm not far from the kitchen, also I need to take breaks often. Walk around, go outside, and drink. Nothing goes on in there but sewing and quilting, no tv, computer, etc.

Neither. I generally do not allow food in there and my kind of drink is best consumed at room temperature.

Going to the bathroom and to the kitchen for another Coke is about the only exercise I get when I 'into' my quilting/sewing phases!!
