Greetings fellow Roses I want to apologize for being silent.
Travelinggramm ,Have4boya, Terriam and JanuceMC I LOVE-LOVE the blocks and I am already starting to visualize how the veteran will react upon receiving the quilt.
I promise to talk more. The heat wave has cooled down some and I am enjoying sewing more in the cool mornings. My freezer is getting full of tomatoes from my garden. They will be going to my BFF to be made into his famous Blue ribbon Salsa.

Good to hear from you, Nelco! I hope you will show us your veteran quilt later on when you’ve brought your vision to reality. DH and I tried to grow tomatoes here but we just don’t have enough sunlight in the fenced area and the deer decimate most plants they can reach. I envy those with veggie gardens.

The finished blocks are coming in fast and furious! Such beautiful work! Terriamn I see a new block for me on Janice's Gallery board, thank you! Look how beautiful it looks with Janice and Hav's blocks already!
It has been a busy weekend but I have no blocks to share yet. Trying to kick start the mojo. Waiting for confidence to overtake me.

HAV, you are inspiring. Wish I had your confidence and skills at making new and precise blocks.
Our tomatoes went crazy this year. We had one plant that only had 4 tomatoes on it but the others have been crazy and they are so tasty.. Have never tried freezing them
Today is going to be a long day, can have only clear liquids.. Sewing should keep me distracted.

Good morning again. Here’s a block for Cheese. It’s similar to another block but I’d already cut it out so changing wasn’t an option. Sorry, Cheese. Hope it’s ok. I love the white star on the darker fabric.
