Terriamn, thank you for the wonderful pix! I see my blocks. *smiling*. Your LA did a nice job. And Mia’s quilt is darling. So glad you were able to finish it.

No quilting going on around here but today is pumpkin cheesecake day. I always make it for DS when he visits for the holidays. It’s pretty easy but the hard part is not to eat too much as I also love it.

This morning I’m going for coffee at a friend’s then it’s home to bake.

Hope you have a pleasant Christmas Eve.

Happy Christmas Eve, today is when our family gets together and it should be a loud fun time for all.

All the baking is done, gifts wrapped and the car will be packed in a few hours.

A quick funny my SIL kept looking funny at me the other day and finally asked me if I had my hair straighten. Ahh no then he said well how can it be straight your hair has always been curly like my DD’s. Told him gray hair has a mind of its own and with me wearing it long now there are no curls. Then he rubbed his bald head and said guess I will never know about gray hair. LOL

Enjoy your day

Thank you, Terriamn, for the photos. Don't we all just love seeing pictures of one another's work and then to try and remember which block was may by you! Tee-Hee-Hee!

My needle will be adding a binding to my last UFO for this year while await my son and daughter-in-law. Revel in the joys and be comforted by the presence of the Christ child this season.

I’m finally able to get online and tell you all I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
We are still in Memphis but are going home to Mississippi tomorrow. Hubby did come with me and we had a wonderful Christmas. It’s always good to spend time with the kids and grandkids! Tonight we went to the Botanical Gardens to see their light display. It was so pretty and the kids had a blast.
Terri, thanks for posting the pics of your quilts. They look great!

Its nice hearing about your celebrations!

I'm home from Christmas Celebration #2. I gifted my Harrisonburg quilt today and made my niece almost cry. She really liked it. I got a message from her hubby this evening about the quilt. Little does he know that he is next on the family quilt list. Tee-Hee-Hee! I am feeling a little pressure to get multiple family quilts finished this year because in about 18 months I will be making graduation quilts for the little ones that I made baby quilts for 18 years ago. I think I have six adult quilts to make, then the babies will be turning into graduates. Those will come at a rate of about two per year. I am tired and I haven't even started on 2026 yet.

The celebrations was such fun with good food and lots of conversations and catching up. It was hard to go home.

WMUTeach, you’ve been busy and it looks like this coming year will be full.

DS headed home yesterday and the house feels a little empty and quiet. It’s the lull before New Year’s Eve. We had a lovely Christmas dinner here and morning with the family at their home. Pretty soon we’ll take down the trees as I’m not one to leave up decorations for much past Christmas. I do look forward to getting back to normal.

On January 1, I’m going to start a 21 Day Quilt Room decluttering. Ever since I got all that fabric from my neighbor, my sewing room has been a catastrophe. I’ve disposed of a mile of quilting fabric but there are miles more to go. The fabric cabinet is in disarray, the drawers are so full of “stuff” I cannot find anything I need and the list goes on. I’m going to give the decluttering a go.

Have a grand New Year!
