If anyone needs help or advice on FMQ I'm happy to help. I've gotten pretty familiar with it now. There is a generic foot available for low shank or high shank machines. Anyways, I'm around if ppl need help.

thanks Vita, but I wouldn't even know where to start with questions. I need to watch people, and when I do,
I sit there with my mouth open in awe at the people that can do it.

Louise, waiting to see what you received.

Getting ice in a few hours, maybe some snow.

letsquilt,
you received a nice MR and goodies from Jan.

I need to find a pattern for a thread collector. My intentions are good when I set the snips off to the side but invariably, my sleeve works as a magnet and the snips land everywhere but in the trash

Best,

Lovely birdhouse mug rug. Is that a Mary Englebreit journal? Love the thread catcher and just the whole package, Nice Swap, Jan! Lucky you, Letsquilt!

The spring looking fabric on that birdhouse is so pretty!

My mugrug is going out on Tues. the 24th. My swap partner knows this. She messaged me to let me know she would be late because she and her husband are terribly sick, they both have a virus, can't eat and thereby have no energy. I told her it was more important that they get well. I guess I better check in with her to find out how they are doing. It is a snowy cold day here. Start snowing around 11am and in a few hours it started getting kind of slick outside. I had to go pick up my prescriptions today and was glad to get home again. It's supposed to turn to icy rain later tonight into tomorrow. I have no plans of going anywhere until Tues. Hope everyone who lives where it is extremely cold is safe and warm.

Believe it or not, we're in for another storm tomorrow night. We've had (officially) over 90" of snow this winter. I think the last time we had that much was when our Brazilian exchange student was here back in '95/'96. He loved it!

Wednesday I played around trying some free-motion quilting. I have a long way to go but it sure is fun getting there.

Your FMQ looks really nice. Is this on a DMS or LA?
