I followed the clues until I got to the outer border using my dark blue (E-2). I realized it is too close to the color of my outer border fabric A. Luckily I had enough of my peach fabric (B) and I think it works out nicely in place of E-2 blue. I can’t decide if I still want to add the planned outer border. I have enough of E-2 to use it as the 6.5” outer border instead. I’m trying to decide. Here is a photo of where I am at this point.

Wow that peach fabric looks great. I had the same issue, had to swap out some fabric when I saw how it came together, I swapped out the center fabric for the medallion, but I'll be sewing the sawtooth-strip border tonight. Yours looks wonderful so far! Thanks for posting your photo, it is inspiring.

Reba, you’re doing great. Look forward to seeing your finished top.
Beverly...smart move to change your E2 border...the peachy coral fabric really sets off the floral border. Great job!

I’m still looking for ideas and suggestions Hepworth to go about quilting this one...

I change my quilt a bit. Here's a picture of what I have so far. I still need to put the saw tooth blocks, the 4 stars and the outer border.

The quilts look good, ladies. I am nearly done with my top. Just need to run out and get .25 yd more of my outer border fabric, if I can still find some.

So pretty Blueridgebeverely! I saw a quilt on Facebook which used one of the solids for the outside border and It was gorgeous! If you decide to go that way, I think it will be exceptional. I like very much no matter what you decide. Beautiful colors!
