I just turned on the computer since I closed it down at 5 yesterday and boy what a lot of news.
Lynnie I hope that you are ok.
This weather is bad. It's already so humid here and looks like it's going to rain. Can't rain I have yard sales to go to.

Karen loved the look back at all the pincushions/needlecases for this month.
Yesterday I did some yard sales and couldn't believe all the chicken things I saw. They weren't around when I needed them.
I don't like Salsa but your tomatoes look really good. I did go to a farm/health store and got some tomatoes that were grown around here and what a difference in taste from the plastic ones in the stores. I have some pear shaped yellow cherry size tomatoes from my one plant but it seems every morning when I go by it there are some on the ground. Last night was the first time I saw an opossum around here. Now I only put out bread in the daytime.

Pat what did you get at the yard sales? show us. Karen be sure to show and tell us what you got too. Here is a picture of the table runner I worked on yesterday.Someone posted a picture on here of several she made.I thought how pretty then as I looked I thought I might be able to make one so I tried. Not my best work but I still like it. I'm easy to please .lol.Hope you enjoy seeing it.

I have been going though my fall clothing and fixing, ironing and making a list of the things I need to fill in the spots. I suppose that is sewing, with the hemming and putting buttons back on. But, not fun things like you gals are doing.

Oh and last sunday, my friend came over and we dug out tons of plants that I wanted to remove from my landscaping. Filled her car! Then it was the lifting of the plants I wanted to divide and re-plant. I have done tons of clean-up in prep for the winter. So gardening and gathering. Perfect for the fall, wouldn't you say?
