For many reasons August disappeared too fast (with issues far beyond my control). I'm sending my pal's gift out tomorrow. I apologize for the delay. I found a couple of extra things yesterday to add so I hope the wait will be worth it. On an "up" note, I'm ahead of the US mailing deadline for this swap. I can't believe I lost a whole week working on bureaucratic red tape. I have high hopes for next month though.

I received my package from my secret pal "mhunt1717" yesterday, and she went beyond her call of duty.

First, it was my birthday, so after having flowers delivered from a friend, a surprise gift from my kids which is still coming, flowers from my granddaughter and daughter (yes I Love flowers) and a handpainted vase and special dinner one night this week, I was surprised to see a package in the mail.

It was fantastic! The timing was perfect also.

Included in the package (picture hopefully attached) were 2 patterns, 3 fat quarter, a doily, a handmade ornament, a pink tape measure, a marking pencil, a wine bottle dress (too bad I don't drink wine) ha, I have a glass every night! and a square-up ruler along with a sachet and a small coin purse!!!

I was so impressed, she really gave me a wonderful gift!

Thank you so much! The ornament will definitely be on my tree this Christmas and I will definitely get tons of use out of everything. You're the greatest!

I couldn't believe all of the items!

I wanted to thank Mary from Raleigh, NC for my August secret pal gift. She didn't include her board name. She sent me some colored pencils, a card, some post-its, a rotary blade, a sewing kit, and a small memo pad with pen. Thanks Mary-I hope you see this and know it's you!

Ok guys, how do I put a picture on here? I got my sp package and wanted to post a picture too.

Oh boy, I figured it out. This is my package and it came from Terryl in Ft. Myers, Fl. She really blessed me with a great package! Check out the chocolate fat quarter! No fat or calories with this one. Ha! Ha! There was also a measuring tape, pair of earrings, felted bag, another beautiful fat quarter, a recipe for salmon, the rose turns into a tote bag, some paper soap, a magnetic pad and some beautiful homemade coasters. She wanted me to have that "beachy" feeling. She really spoiled me.

She also included a two-page letter that I enjoyed reading.

Thank you Terryl!

Vanessa

I got it on Saturday. I LOVE it! I wish I could post pics. I got five 30's F8's with coordinating solid F8's, self-threading needles, a cute memo pad with coordinating page markers, a cute card which held three very cute hand made Christmas ornament stars, handy bobs--can't wait to try them out! I feel like I'm leaving something out--sorry! It really made my day! Thanks so much.

Hugs,

Mary B MS
