Nena: Just put the blocks in a pillow case, pin the top closed and wash on gentle cycle. I have done that a couple of times and it worked just fine!

I think if you wash them in cold water, therre will be less chance of shrinkage.

And if they do shrink it would be better than shrinking after they were in a quilt!

Nena, if they shrink, maybe you can trim a bit and make room to add a small border to it without it looking too obvious? Or maybe not... (I hate when I do stuff like that to myself)
