I ordered some and they are good. They are back to $1.99/2 pack [~ $1.00 per blade). I ordered 8 packs at the sale price of $1.79 (there was a $3 difference between ordering 8 packs or the next higher quantity), but even with shipping, they are cheaper than the others, which seem to average about $3/blade before taxes or shipping. They only fit the 45mm rotary cutter.

Also, as someone else already mentioned, they are listed as carpet cutter blades and are in the flooring or speciality sections of the Harbor Freight catalog or store.

Our Harbor Freight had a sign by where the blades are this week that said "Permanently out of stock."

    Gale,
Ask them to hold you some cutters next time you are there, that is what I did. They more then glad to do it.

Oh, that's too bad. Mine only gets a few in at a time. Once I asked about that-I specifically asked for the carpet cutter replacement blades. The guy said, "yea, those quilters found out they are the same as the expensive ones at the fabric store and we can't keep them in stock."

They are called "carpet cutter replacement blades." I haven't had any trouble with them. Super sharp for a super price!

I haven't had any problems either. They are comparable. Also, no matter what, if you are a "heavy handed cutter" like I am, and you do a LOT of cutting, then this is the way to go.

I just got one set of 3. I think they are tougher than "quilting" blades. Need to go again.
