    I think you were smart to cut the number to 6. Twelve is way too many unless you want scrappy. I think your quilt is really beautiful.

    Love the colors and it is a beautiful quilt. A pattern is just an outline for us to use and develop.

    Yellow Brick Road is one of my very favorite patterns. I have made at least a dozen of them. I have used as little as 3 colors (patterns) and as many as 24. They never fail! You did a good job!

    I like it! I might try that, too. I took the Turning Twenty pattern and used only 10 FQ for a smaller one and called it "Twisted Ten". I'm just a novice, and not smart enough to wonder if something will work. I just give it a try -- what the heck!
