I recall the song : "Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie them in a knot, can you tie them in a bow? Can you throw them over your shoulder like a continential soldier? Do your ears hang low?"

However, somedays I could could substitute "boobs" for "ears!" ;-D

things that made me smile this morning, despite my age and encroaching decrepitude:

remembering roy rogers and gabby hayes. horse, trigger. jeep, nellybelle.

my grandmother, elegant and victorian in her youth, sincere and severe government gertie in her middle age. swellegant and tall in her old age--but still not above eating pizza with her teenaged granddaughter, and having "slumber parties" with her. and this elegant lady tossing back her head, and yodeling!

puffed wheat and puffed rice cereal--"shot from cannons". i still have my little cannon ring that would "shoot" the cereal across the room. my mom tolerated it. the cat loved it!

miss frances and ding dong school

kukla, fran and ollie memories. and i found them on you tube!

dragonflies--tiny, blue dragonflies, by the hundreds, hovering over and hiding in my big lily of the valley patch..

and now, i can add that funny earworm to the list of stuff that made my day!

You're not senile I have those same memories where I can remember a refrain to a childhood ditty but the rest of the words are a loss. Thank God for a friend who can remember parts I've forgotten and together we laugh when we're able to remember the whole thing and when we used to sign it.

LOL, I remember it with ears as well! I remember Cybil Shepherd saying as she aged her boobs were more versatile, because she could wear them high, or she could wear them low!! Sad....but true.
