I'm in central Indiana...am up to block 62...some of them have been doozies...one had over 60 pieces! But, I am determined to finish. I have lots of time to quilt since I'm retired...so I can do 2-4 nearly every day. I am looking forward to seeing your comments and being part of a group...if a person gets this quilt completed they will have something to brag about that's for sure.

I have just started. I have completed 7 blocks and had miss starts on a few. Block 26, I just can't seem to get it to fit. Did you have trouble with getting the half squares to match the 2 1/2" block? I am retired too, but think I need a break and will finish quilting another WIP. Do you belong to Myquiltplace.com? If not, I think you should check it out. Nancy

Hello from Iowa, there is a block of the month for the Farmers Wife. Just click on BOM at the bottom and it will take you there. There are several of us that are doing this 2 blocks a week, so come on and join us.

I am beginning to know all the aspects of this site. Thanks for the heads up on the BOM. Finding the templates all on one page for each block is also helpful. I had 50 of the single ones printed out, but at least I didn't have them all done. I look forward to seeing what so many accomplish in this quilt along.
