I made two of her quilts then gave away her book. Her patterns are stunning but I would definitely stick with the simple or beginner patterns. Personally, I run away when I see her name. :lol:

Wow, I never knew she was such a big deal in the pattern world. I thought she just did notions.

The pictures of all the quilts are lovely, and clearly, like Kitsie's, obviously a ton of work, whether you found it complicated or not.

@grandmapepsi -
The navy fabric for the swans- what is it (if you know)? The print has a FABULOUS texture.

I agree that they are not hard if you cut precisely and keep organized. Her instructions are very clear. They do take longer to piece because she does use SMALL pieces, the middle of theses blocks are only 1 inch. But, IMO, they are not for a beginner! I love her patterns!

No offense to anyone but, Pam Bono patterns are not my cup of tea. Her patterns are a major head ache for me to follow.

I've done some Pam Bono stuff and I like doing them. But you do need patients and organization. I quess its in what you like to do and how much time you are willing to spend.

Pam came to our guild and did a program a few years back. I bought 2 of the patterns which I have yet to try. I just love the kitty quilt! I appreciate all the comments and advice here. I'll keep it in mind when I start my kitty quilt - if I ever get a round tuit!
