I just informed the hubby that I WILL be at this one. Since I can get chores done before going and get them done when I get home...I will be there.
I am going to make it to one of Craftybears too. I was hoping to make it to this one but hubby will be gone and it's too far of drive to get the chore thing done on time.
Should be wear name tags with our real and qb names??

I've got a cool idea but want to involve the LQS. Give me a few hours to contact her and get her permission then I'll post the idea and PM all participants.
It will be fun and you'll win something :)

MORE FUN!!!
A few people asked me if/how we were going to identify themselves and frankly - this being my first rodeo I hadn't planned that far.
Had a good (I think) idea. I'm posting it here and I'll send a PM to all that have indicated they will, or might be attending.
Each of us is to make a name badge out of fabric with your screen name and your first name on it. You can embroider it, piece it, or just write your name with a black marker.
Here's the fun part.
FABRIC BADGE BINGO!!!!
The first person to find the identical fabric in the store that your badge is made out of WINS!!!
What do you win?
A fat quarter of your choice donated by the good ladies of The Quilter's Garden!!
BUT WAIT ... THERE'S MORE!!!!! MORE FUN!!!
FREE DEMO'S!!! FREE DEMO'S!! FREE DEMO'S!
Once again the ladies at this shop (Beth & Carol) continue to cement the fact that Tinker & I (mostly Tinker) picked a great shop to start our meet and greet. They will be demonstrating various products and and projects for us. One is a demo of a nifty new ruler, a table runner project, a demo of how to use Shannon fabric, and more!! 20 Minute demo's for us to enjoy.
So ... to sum up the day.
We meet at 10:00 AM at the Quilters Garden for shopping, Fabric Badge Bingo, free demo's, and a tour of their retreat center. Sometime around lunch we walk 1 block to Kramer's Kitchen for a casual lunch, chat and our own show and tell. After that we have a choice of visiting another Quilt shop (The Old Timers - 3000 bolts!!) up the road, or the Farm Market just outside of town. Or both!!
I'm pretty excited and I hope we get lots of quilters here.
Look forward to meeting everyone!!!

count me in! Maybe my daughter can come as well. Princeton is a good hop away from me and both stores are out of this world! (like I need more fabric-but oh well shopping is part of the fun!) Sounds like a great day planned.

Looks like Princeton is a little ways from me (approx 170 miles) but never know... chances are won't make this one but it sounds like fun to think about for another time... thank you for including me - being new to quilting I have found everyone on the board to be so friendly, helpful and welcoming.. thanks again
