How do you find quilt cruises leaving from the West Coast? On the net, I mean. Libber

Oh good for you!!! Enjoy, and let us know what it was like. I have been prepping my husband for the last few years that we will be taking a quilting cruise when we retire....so far he's not really on board (grrr) but I'm sure he will relent! Have a great time and make sure to take the time to enjoy the scenery, not just the quilting classrooms!!

It's through sisterhoodofquilters.com. They have 2 quilting cruises a year. Just go on their web site and you can see what's on for 2012.

Have a great time! I have looked at those since I have been on regular cruises. It would be fun to combine the two things.

Even if you're prone to motion sickness, a cruise through the Inside Passage in Alaska wouldn't be a problem if you book a room on a lower deck where the roll of the ship is least. All the big cruise ships are stabilized so the motion you perceive is very, very slight in this protected area. The scenery is fabulous, the ports all interesting. Getting close up to the glaciers is an astonishing experience. Go for it! And don't miss the quilt shop in Ketchikan!
