Shipping is a consideration for me so I make gifts that are easily packed. The little girls will get apron/hot mitt sets for baking with their mom. The men (including teen boys) will all receive dresser valets this year.....faux leather exterior/rayon stripe interiors. The girls and ladies are all getting small wood 3-drawer chests that are personalized to their interest. 5 are done, 4 more to go. Some children are getting tote bags with crayon pockets and a color book tucked inside. My Treasures (4 grandchildren who live down here) will receive quilts, hooded fleece jackets and a few other goodies coming from the sewing room.

I'd like to try some mug rugs, and placemats, and table toppers; if I have time that is - have 4 quilts that need to be finished first.... weddings, baby, and a just because!

I am amking some advent calendars from panels I got on clearance at Joanns for my grandkids. Usually i make candy, fudge or fake roca almond, and cookies and jams I make in the summer. Also biscotti and cocoa and flavored coffee mixes, chai tea mix I found last year was a big hit.

I am going to make my father a lap quilt with this lovely trout fabric I found online. He is an avid fisherman and he loves things that I make him.
