They just slid into the fabric. She thought they were Fons & Porter, but she was either mistaken or they have discontinued them. Anyone know which ones I'm talking about and can point me to the correct brand or site where they are sold???

    Thanks!

Do you mean you use these for sandwiching your quilt? I have never heard of this before. Don't you get stabbed a lot? I'm just trying to picture it. Just wondering...

Let me know if you don't find them and I will pick them up for you and send them to you. They are a little more expensive and there aren't that many in the package, maybe 50 or 60 max. Good luck. Shiloh....do you like the Pinmoors?

No, I'm not going to use them for sandwiching, just for piecing, although folks do use straight pins and Pinmoors for sandwiching.

I use carsage pins from the flower section at Wal Mart. I am a hand quilter and they are very good for pinning my quilt in. They are sharp but strong they do not bend easily.

they sound like the ones my teacher uses; she said they are dress making pins. She said they are really sharp but since they are so thin the bend easily but she said it is so worth it. I think even Walmarts has them
