    Congratulations. You will love your new little find. It was so nice of him to give it to you. I would name her after his wife. Have fun with her.

    You can find out more about your sewing machine on line. I just typed in "Singer Sewing Machines" and was eventually led to a collectors' club/museum. The group is in England but was very helpful in telling me about my machine just from the serial #. But, that is a very nice looking machine. Have fun with it.
