It's in great shape...It has one triangle that is torn but the rest looks great...I paid $12.00 for it. I don't know how old it is, but it looks like older fabric. This is the 3rd quilt that I have found at GW...Just wanted to share with you all...Any ideas how hold it might be?
WOW! That is absolutely beautiful! Reminds me of a quilt I made for my parents when I was 18; my mom still used it when she passed away in 1997...the quilt was 30 years old then.

take some hemming tape that you can stick behind the tear and press it so it sticks. should patch your hole so it is not too noticible.

OH MY GOODNESS OUR GOD SURE BLESSED YOU TODAY,WOULDN'T YOU SAY I AM SURE GLAD SOME ONE LIKE YOU FOUND IT INSTEAD OF SOME ONE WHO DOES NOT APPRECIATE HARD AND WONDERFUL WORK.
Yes that is how I feel when I find an old quilt like that...I didn't appreciate the "hard" work and long hours it takes to make a quilt until I started quilting less than 2 yrs ago....So to be fair if I found it back then I wouldn't have thought much of it and might not have bought it...So I feel very blessed when I find one that old...
