I am much better tonight. My finger is black and blue but the throb is slight. My DH laughed his a-- off where he heard. He kept asking "how did you do that" I still don't know!!! All he says is "good thing it wasn't the middle one" Such a comic!!!
Your DH has a sense of humor like my kids have... they laugh when people fall down.
Well you did a great job on your quilt and finsihed it despite the painful experience! Little ones just love satin bindings!

Ouch! I did that on my babylock. My husband had to hand crank the needle up so I could release my finger. It went in right along the nail bed. I am not so sure I have learned my lesson. Praying it never happen again. Happy

Did you turn that in on the home accident report? Those things happen so quickly! That is a gorgeous quilt!

Been reading a lot of needle accidents lately. Then the other day I reached behind the needle to pull the thread thru, and realize the point was right up against my finger, and uh oh..... . I reached around and turned OFF the machine. Would you believe I sat there for a good 10 minutes, lol, trying to figure out how to get out of that situation without ending up with the needle stuck in my finger? I eventually wiggled the needle just far enough forward to free myself, but I learned my lesson!!

I think we forget we are working with a dangerous weapon, lol. Hope your finger gets better soon.
