Char, thanks for the wonderful table topper directions. You pic. of it is gorgeous, wish that was on my table.
I just printed it out so I could go gather up the needed fabrics to make my own. It's really striking.
How long did it take to make? GREAT JOB!!! :)

1/4 yd each of 8 assorted blue-print fabrics for piecing
1/4 yd each of 8 assorted red-print fabrics for piecing
3/8 yd of medium red print fabric for border
1/2 yd of blue solid fabric for binding.
1 2/3 yds of 60" wide flannel for backing.
You will make 25 blocks ( 9 star blocks and 16 stripe blocks) All are 10 inches which finish at 9 1/2 inches. Border is 4 inches
From the ass't beige fab, cut a total of 20 - 1 1/2 wide strips wof
    and 36 - 3 3/8 inch squares (for 1/2 sq triangles) and36 - 3 inch squares (corners)
    From the 8 ass't blue fabrics, cut 9 - 5 1/2 inch squares and 36 - 3 3/8 inch squares
From the red fabrics, cut 20 - 1 1/2 inch strips wof.
From the red print cut 6 - 4 inch strips for the border. From the blue print, cut 6 - 2 1/4 inch strips for the binding.
    For the stripe blocks:
sew together 10 of the 1 1/2 inch red and beige strips together alternating the colors. Make 4 of these sets and subcut them into 10 inch squares. You need to make 16 of these blocks.
    For the star block:
The center is a 5 1/2 inch square, the corners are 3 inch squares, the points are 1/2 square triangles I squared mine up before sewing them together. Make 9 of these squares.

    I hope this helps.
