    Welcome from Minnesota!

The people here will be able to help you. I'm fairly new to quilting - still working on the first quilt.

A wonderful undertaking for a sick friend. Lots of great advice already stated, just wanted to say hi and prayers to your young friend.

You all bring tears to my eyes by how kind and helpful you are. Ashie you are very special. NJ Quilter bless you.

Ashie if you are having trouble with enlarging the blocks (tiles) you could make a number the same as in the You Tube you posted and sew them together with a 6inch border around the outside and then you could make it as large as you want more easily.

Please include your friend in the making of this quilt as it will be a moment away from doctors etc every time you give an update and who among us doesn't enjoy having something lovely to look forward to.
