    Betsey,
I too had the lap band sergury two years in July. To date I have lost over 130 pounds. At my heaviest I'm sure I was pushing 400 pounds; although, when I started my weight loss program I weighed 353. I was in size 58 pants and today I'm in size 38. I'm sure it was in eighth or ninth grade when I was in that size. Enough about blowing my own horn, congratulations on your journey! It's not easy, but worth it in the long run.
