Linda, where are you?

I'm a 65-year-old Linda. I got tired of being amongst so many in school and work but now it doesn't matter. Age changes things. My Dad named me after a song of the late 40s. I don't remember the name but it went like this: Count all the charms about Linda. I think he said that Bing sang it. I always wished my name was Cynthia. I just thought that was so sophisticated!

I too am a Linda, born in Dec. 1949. I don't remember a lot of Linda's from my childhood, but over 14 years ago I married my loving husband who has a distinct German last name no one can ever pronounce. When we married I inherited a wonderful sister-in-law who was also a Linda. Now I am known as the other Linda Schluchter because she was the first!

I am also a Linda, but was born before Linda Darnell became a big star, so most Lindas are about 5 years younger than me. I know what you mean about not many younger Lindas. I have 8 great granddaughters, do you think one is named Linda? Nope but did use my middle name for one, Jeannette. I like Linda, always have. Nice to meet all you Lindas. My father also picked my name. Take care.

I'm a Lynda, do I count? When I asked my parents why they chose to spell it with a y, I was told it was so that Linda S____ wouldn't think I was named after her. Must have worked because I never knew who that Linda was. I won't turn 60 for 17 more years.

I have already checked in, but thought about this thread yesterday. I took a 6 hour class on FMQ from a wonderful teacher yesterday. There were 10 0f us in the class and (you guessed it) there were two Linda's! Both of us in the 60's age range!
