    If you took the color away, would the design be innovative, or does it look modern because of the color placement ? While I think it's WONDERFULLY unique and exciting, I'm thinking the design is not as innovative as the color placement. But, I guess at the end of the day, it's really your decision where you want to enter it. Your quilts will win accolates no matter what category it's in!

    Innovative. This is possibly the most unique quilt I've seen! wow I just fell in love! fantastic job! I hope you get 1st place good luck.

    Wow, was sitting here with my first cup of coffee this morning reading through the board, and zap....your quilt popped up on your post and woke me up. It's is great!!! I love 3D, and I love the colors as well. Wonderful!!! Very innovative.

    Oh, this is so awesome !!!! My eyes can't get enough of looking at it. How did you ever find similar fabrics with such subtle shadings? I can only hope that some day my skills will begin to approach what I see in your wonderful, magical quilt!!! Whether it is innovative or modern, I cannot say, I certainly know it is NOT traditional. LOL

    I cast my vote for innovative, and besides your lovely color choices, the design is quite stunning. Nice job!!
