I laugh not at you but because I had the same experience with the quilt called around the world. When finished with the top, I noticed the it was off center. Therefore the name was off around the world. We are our own worse critics. From my point of view, it is very unique and beautiful.

Anyone with doubts about the value of their quilts should go look at those made by the women of Gees Bend.
These are all human endeavors and mistakes are part of humanity.

Your colors are wonderful, the variety is interesting and the mistakes are going to be worth telling about for generations. That is what it means to be immortal...

None of us make a perfect quilt. I think it is lovely and you should be proud mistakes and all. Your creative design alone is a masterpiece

The colors are rather bland, and looks like a hodgebodge of blocks that were left over from other projects.
But we learn from our mistakes, and know the next quilt will be better. :0)

I thought the off centeredness was part of the design! It makes it more interesting than if everything were lined up perfectly. It's a beautiful quilt.

I think it is lovely. As for the center not centered, have you seen some of the "modern" quilts? Not "bland" at all, I find it peaceful and comforting, not all quilts have to scream "Look at me, I'm obnoxious"!! If you hate it, LOL, send it to me!!

Those are not mistakes - they are design elements - the quilt is beautiful
