I LOVE this thing! I just ordered the die set for the 12 1/2 inch blocks and the possibilities are endless. I have been cutting up all of my scraps and putting them into plastic shoe boxes, by size and shape. Even if I don't ever make 25 scrappy quilts, I've had a blast cutting the scraps for them. LOL! This was money well spent!

I am so happy w/my new Go! that I have cut up over 50 yards of fabric in just one week. I have six separate sets of of cuts ready to be sewn together and my sewing has never been more accurate because my pieces are all the same size. Also I haven't had a single dogleg in any of my strip cuts. woohoo! I just order a few applique dies to give that a try as well.

OK all you strip cutters. Do you cut your strips lengthwise grain like it suggests or do you cut them crosswise. I haven't taken the plunge to use the strip cutter dies I bought because of the grain line issues.

    Whatcha think folks?

i have a friend who has a go cutter and the cover sheets are plastic and do not last very long and for a large quilt it takes forever to cut out the pieces, I have a studio cutter and LOVE it as I can cut out 70+ strips at once and can trun them across again and cut the squares any size from 1" to 6 1/2", all other dies can also be cut in 6 to 8 fabric thickness at one cutting making it quick to cut hundreds

If anyone is thinking about getting a GO or already has one, Joann's will have accuquilt products at 40% off starting tomorrow. I noticed today that they had a price of $99 on the Baby, which would make the sale price $60 - that's the cheapest I've ever seen it, including online. It would be a nice way to start if you're not sure about all this. Just know that the Baby comes with nothing - no dies or mats included.

Love mine got it for Xmas 2012 have made at least 4 Q's and have at least that many blocks cut out in shoe boxes, I'll take camping this summer. 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 makes a great double 4 block. Just ordered the small tumbler die. I have half square big and small die's. Works great once you get seam allowance set right. Great for scrappy quilts. Talk about stash buster, cut out blocks for quilts and put that stash in shoe boxes and buy more fabric Hint, hint.

Just ordered the blazing star die. I've got to try it. Maybe it will slow me down a little. Not really!!!!! Just buy more fabric. Cut, cut, cut, so easy.
