What a beautiful saddle blanket. The horse must be proud to wear it!
My favorite quilt is the weird one I made at my daughter's request that nobody else likes.

I am still thinking about it! My DIL is expecting our 4th DGD in July and, of course, I will make her quilts and things. I talked to her tonight and asked her if she had decided on nursery colors yet. She said yes--orange, purple, yellow and brown. I waited for her to laugh--she didn't. Now what kind of quilt can I possibly make in those colors? What a combination!

I am so sorry your beloved husband passed. I am happy he got to see the quilt. This was a heart warming story that made me cry. My thoughts are with you.

The saddle blanket is beautiful and its my favorite color too!!
I love making quilts! I make charity quilts for kids and also our wounded soldiers. I am the keeper of the scraps for my group, all the pieces came out of the scrap boxes.
The first quilt is my own variation, the pattern is friendship star; it went to a soldier. The 2nd one is "Crayon Box", a free Bonnie Hunter. I used flannels scraps for this one.

Sharon, very nice quilts, I love the colors.

My favorite quilt is a storybook quilt called " Wind in the Willows". It's on my photo page.

I made a beautiful quilt called "Mad at Willie" after having a giant spat with my DH. I went into my sewing room and locked the door and stayed there for 2 days and made a convergence quilt with lots of cutting and sewing. It came out awesome!
Yes, my sewing room had a bathroom and I ate my chocolate stash! LOL
