    I made some little sample quilts, and the more blocks I included, the more I liked the wide ones.
    Narrow:

    Wide:

    Like others have said, do what you like!

    I vote for the thinner.........it gives more flow to the pieces and doesn't seem so flat.........jmho but the real question is: "what can You live with".........

    First, let me say I love your fabric choice, especially the black/grey/white floral - gorgeous. I would op for the larger cross pieces, I think it's more balanced that way. It's going to be a gorgeous quilt when it's finished - nice job.

    How large were your original blocks and how far did you cut from the center seams on each one? I like the smaller, especially after seeing your sample quilts. Somehow looks less busy although that could be because the darker fabric was cut to read more solid in that one.
