I think it is really beautiful...perfect gift. I am sure it will be treasured for many years. I love the colours...I love orange tones.

Pinkrose: What a beautiful quilt and so appropriate..."Lover's Knot" I think is the name of the block. No, the orange is perfect.

This is great. Orange is not color of choice usually, but it's just perfect in combination with your other fabric choices. That will be a gorgeous quilt. Can't wait to see it complete. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the use of the tonals, with the one floral that packs the punch of combining those florals. Perfect choice!

Beautifully done. The orange is only wrong if it doesn't match anything they have. Personally I would be willing to redecorate to match such a lovely quilt. Lover's Knot is a fairly simple log cabin variation but makes for a wonderful quilt.
