It's beautiful, but as you said you couldn't get rid of all your scraps. I think they multiply while we are sleeping at night. In her Sr. year of high school my daughter came down with chicken pox (apparently being exposed to her brother years before didn't work), so she asked me to help her make a "charm" quilt, with each block a different fabric. She went through all my fabric, and as she did she was reminded of an event, a birthday, dress, etc., so when she went off to college, she brought some of her childhood memories with her.

That narrow green sashing caught my eye too. Did you cut that about an inch wide which would leave 1/2"? You have done some beautiful work on the whole thing. Thanks for sharing.
