You will probably get a good laugh out of this, but I cut them with a rotary cutter during football season. That is correct! I am a huge football fan and God forbid I miss a game. My friends don't call me on Sunday's and my children and grandchildren know if they plan something, it better be a Saturday. My husband is a "football widower" since he does not like any sports. If only I could get him to quilt for me, what a help that would be.

dcamarote, what a great idea! I try to sew while watching both football and basketball, but you can imagine the results! Thanks for the post!

Beautiful quilts posted by LuvTooQuilt. Hats off to you and all of your 2" squares. I have not yet been crazy enough to try one but yours are spectacular!

Is there a big difference between the Go and the Go Baby? I mean in the cutting I mean, I know there is a difference in the machine size & cost of course.

The dies are the same--just the machine is smaller. The Go Baby can't use ALL of the dies though, because the Baby is a smaller machine & can only fit dies that are about 6" wide, so make sure the dies are available in the sizes you want to cut most often before settling on the Baby.

I have the Go Baby & use it for everything I can. I love making scrap quilts and my Go Baby makes cutting small scraps (especially 2"squares) into useable pieces a breeze, with WAY more accuracy than I could possibly rotary cut them. Do I wish I had one of the bigger Gos? Nope. The Go Baby fills all of my needs. And the 2.5" strip cutter makes cutting the bindings super quick. If I had to give up my GoBaby, I'd probably stop quilting with anything other than precuts, which is a much more expensive way to quilt (in my opinion). Yes, the initial investment is not cheap, but after getting the dies you want, having the ability to cut ANY fabric accurately actually saves me money now!

luvTooQuilt, your quilts are gorgeous! I have a Go sitting in my closet but seeing these quilts makes me want to take it out and give it another "Go".
