I like it all. Except for connecting the two binding strips before sewing the binding down, to front or back. I have tried every method I can find and I just get confused. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Oh well, I'll keep trying.

Viki Kirby does beautiful work. I think she has a web site, but I couldn't find it. We're in the same guild and I have seen first hand some of her beautiful work.

I know what you mean. My DH keeps asking me why I don't machine stitch the back of the binding but I too love to sit and hand stitch the back of the binding.

My most stressful part is trying to pick out just the right fabric and colors. I'm always afraid I'll spend $$ on the fabric and then I won't like it.

The whole process from beginning to end, whether it's piecing, applique, or embroidery, sometimes my quilts have all 3 in one quilt. I love doing it all!!

I really love the quilting because I love my LA. But the next best part is the planning and dreaming of what I can do next while looking at what my DH calls my "quilt porn" either in mags or on the computer.

I like all of it, but, if I have to pick a favorite, it would have to be the hand quilting, because it is so relaxing.

For me, a lot of times it is whatever I am doing at the moment, but do love the actual hand quilting. Then when I give it to someone, and see the look on his/her face, I am so happy when I make someone else happy too.

I also love the whole process. To me, no part is tedious. But I have to admit that matching and choosing fabrics and designs is my favorite part.
