    Beautiful quilt and a real heirloom to be passed down through your family. My MIL is like your Mom, she seems to always find something negative to say about everything, we have come to make a joke out of it.

    It is a gorgeous quilt! So glad you weathered all those life events and were able to finish it and give it to your Mom.

    My Mom was 'that way', too, but was always there for us if we needed her help. That was what counted!

    Your quilt is gorgeous. Even at 80, there is such a thing as common courtesy. I'm so sorry your mother didn't extend it to you. Even though you say you expected it, it still hurts. The last few weeks have been dreadful for you and your family. Your attitude is amazing. I'm in awe. Joyce in Delaware
