    Love your potholder..too pretty to get messy...I made some log cabin ones from orphan blocks but don't think I got enough of the Insulbrite because it really gets hot...made sure I put it in right but only used one layer..Perhaps two?

    These are really pretty!! I like making my own so they are actually protect me. The store bought ones often seem too thin.

    It's so fun to make your own. I sprayed mine with Scotch Guard fabric protector and it seems to last through a few washes. I also use Resolve Stain Stick, putting it on and letting them sit till I do laundry.

    You did a wonderful job on your potholders, the binding is really great, very professional looking. I have a tendency to get a little sloppy with pot holders, but will have to rethink that as yours are beautiful and well made.
