    Nice job getting your applique owl panel to fit inside the middle of a Hunter star blocks.

    Absolutely love it. My husband would be thrilled with it as he is an owl fan, however, his wife doesn't like appliqué.

    Your quilt made me smile. Your co-worker is lucky to have a friend as talented as you (and thoughtful)

    I have wanted to try flannel as a backing. I really like your yellow flannel with white dots. Can you please tell me the fabric line if you know it? Also, what type of batting did you use poly or cotton? I read in a quilt mag. that poly batts work best with flannel. I am not sure why. Thank you!
