Your appliqued hummingbird is stunning. I just found the pattern online but noticed that it is the reverse of your wall hanging. I really like your configuration much better than the original. I haven't done much fusible applique but I guess you deliberately did not reverse the applique as you fused? Is that how I can make it come out the same as yours?
    Thanks

Beautiful fabric choices. I hope the hummingbird quilt helps your mom find her safe place.

LOL - chalk that up to not reading the instructions before beginning. I remembered from when I did applique a very long time ago that when you trace the pieces on to the fusible you need to reverse the images. Yay me - so proud for remembering to do this, It took me FOREVER to figure out how to print in reverse with my printer. As I started cutting the pieces out and assembling I realized something wasn't quite right. Read the instructions and lo and behold the instructions indicated the images HAD already been provided in reverse. Sigh.

In summary, if you want your design to be oriented as in the original pattern - print/trace the images as is. If you want your design to be oriented as mine then print/trace the images in reverse.
