Just as I took the picture of the new and improved bargello to upload here I realize that now the last 3 rows are off. Guess what I'm doing tonight. Apparently I need the visual of a picture to see the problems because that's how I've caught both issues. On the upside, I am learning A LOT and I am determined to finish this!!! I just hope the fabric can hold up to all this ripping apart and re-sewing :)

Bless your heart. I probably shouldn't encourage you in the pursuit of complete perfection, but I thought those last three rows were exactly the way they were supposed to be! silly me!
I am so PROUD of you taking the offenders out and fixing them. It is as you say: I am learning A LOT -- and that is one of the blessings of mistakes <wave> Good show! :!:

I think you did a wonderful job, especially as it's your first. Those are always the hardest and the ones you learn the most from. Personally, I would have left it the way it was and called it my humility strips - it keeps me humble to know I'm not perfect! But then again, that's just me. Not to proud to display my mistakes!! *giggle* Can't wait to see it once you re-display it!! Keep up the good work!

Oh, and the finished product came out to be about 24 x 35 inches. Pretty close to what the book said...
