I'm so happy for you! And that is not just a little thing! My sister-in-law went through chemo and radiation, and her hair came back the most gorgeous color and much thicker than she had before.

That is wonderful.
On the other side of the spectrum. I just donated my hair to locks of love for people going thru chemo. I cut 12" off this time. 2 years ago I cut off 24" and donated it.

Woohoo! I also think it's a great big deal that you have something you can comb now. That's awesome!

And Mochasue, thank you so much for your generosity. My mom went through chemo a few years ago and bought a wig made with real hair. They really do mean a lot when you don't have any hair.

:D

Sharon,

I went through chemo several years ago. I did not lose my hair but it did thin and my head was so sore I could barely comb my hair.

I am so HAPPY for you that yours came back and hope you are doing well.

We live on the east coast close to New Bern, NC

Congratulations!! Not a little thing- it's a BIG celebration. I'm googling crocheted chemo caps for a 24 year old friend who started chemo this week.

Congrats to you. Our local physician is sending his folks to the local hairdresser to obtain the vitamin Nioxin for nail and hair growth. You could probably order off internet. I have been taking for a couple of months and my nails (which I took it for) have improved and My hair (I have not had chemo) has grown so fast...
