Wedding Ring Chat Class

here's what it looks like from the back when you're adding the second and remaining melons. you can see now how sewing a seam wider than 1/4" at the ends could cause problems.

this is what i did with my ring. if i do this again, i'll make sure my ruffle contrasts better with the wedding ring. but no way was i going to take the stupid thing off and make another one. lol

you can make a block by using the pattern pieces to make corners.
you can make side "fillers" by cutting off only one of the straight side seam allowances, then folding the background fabric only once.

you can attach a bunch of rings together, then leave the outer edges scalloped. (just don't ask me to bind it for you. )
you can make a table runner ....
you can ... you can ...
you get the idea

If anyone is interested I did a file of all the written instructions and put what picture each set of instructions went with. I then downloaded all the pictures. I have everything in one file. So if anyone wants it I can email it as an attachment. Let me know. :D

i don't want to sound awful or greedy, but please don't copy my quilt design. i'm developing a pattern for it i hope i'll be able to sell someday.
you guys are welcome to share everything else i posted between yourselves and with friends, though. it will all be included in a booklet that goes with the pattern. in the meantime, i know i can trust all of you to tell your friends who wrote and photographed it, to not sell or give it as your own original work, etc, etc, etc. you know ... all the annoying, obnoxious stuff like that there.
you might be able to save the whole thing to your computer by going to your web browser menu and selecting "File", the "Save As". if the option is available to you, select "webpage, complete (.html)". if it works, it'll save text and pictures in a folder. then you can open it anytime you want by double-clicking on the file name.
i just tested it. you'll have to save each page seperately. make sure you give each file a different name so page 2 doesn't overwrite page1, etc.

I Know I can send each file separate. Outlook you can send the whole file, but AOL wants it all separate. Still trying, though, so untill I figure it out I can't send the whole folder at once. So we will wait.
