I love the retro table also. I've been wanting one for quite some time but knew it wouldn't fit with my decor -- now I see how I can use one---in my sewing area. You have done a wonderful job with the space you have. I, too, have a small space.

Good for you....I used to sew in my bedroom and it'd worked great for years. Now I have a bedroom that all I do in it is sew. The main thing is being able to sew!

for several years, my sewing "room" was the closet in the back room.. my dh got a shelf frm home depot, put some 2x4s on the walls of the closet, got a small fluorescent fixture, and that was it...

course the fabric was stored EVERYWHERE! under every bed, the couch, anyplace else i could find.

This looks like a very pleasant room to quilt in.

Some of the rooms on this site are so beautiful and huge. I also sew in a bedroom Our guest room. I push back the twin beds and set up a table to cut on and my machine. Then, when someone comes to visit, ( I live in FL so they do come often) I have to take it all down and make it livable again. The good part is I don't have time to get super messy and I organize often. Your space looks fine to me, kinda like mine.

Everyone go read what this talented, creative quilter says about a small quilt space.
