It's kind of creepy knowing my parents knew a serial killer.
I can't read books like that one b/c knowing it really happened creeps me out to much. A long time ago I watched Helter Skelter on TV- I think it was a made for TV movie. I had nightmares for 3 months!! That did it for me. And that was a long time ago.
I can handle fictional murders and that's it :)

Hi I just read "Endless Chain" by Emilie Richards and it was good too. I haven't been able to read much since I had slight stoke but this was fun. Jo

Jo,
I just "discovered" Emilie Richards and the Shenandoah Album series. I've read 3 of the 5 (in the wrong order) and I think they are marvelous.

I just finished Stephen Kings' "Under the Dome" yesterday. I liked it a lot, even though I'm noticing that the language he uses has deteriorated a lot since his early days.

Next I'm planning on trying the "Wizard of Oz" books. I never read them as a child, but loved the movie, so figured I'd learn more about the story. The only problem is that I think there are a large number of books in that series, so it could take me months to get through them. I usually only read for a few minutes right before bed.
