    I have find it is helpful for me. You know the rubber finguer tip that is use by people that work with papers a lot ( a lot of bank teller use them). You can get them in differnt sizes at a office supply store. I use one on my thum, it sure help to pull the needle up. it take so getting use to. but it works for me.
