    I like the blue border but the lasso fabric is great too. If you add the lasso fabric it will make the quilt bigger and the child may use it longer.

    I agree. Do the lasso border and then bind it in red. The red will frame the quilt and balance the bandana. I love it!

    I think the red would be a good finish border. You don't always have to make a stander border. You can do the HST or strips as the border. take it oujt of the box if you have the fabric

    love the lasso fabric. At the Sister's Quilt show this last weekend they had a few quilts that had red piping between the last border (the lasso) and the binding. It was a really attractive touch.

    I agree. The blue seems to finish it as a kid's quilt - not too big.

    go with the lasso border. It really lightens the entire quilt up. Great pattern and nice job
