I have this great lasso fabric and was considering it, but didn't want to get the busy going again........please tell me what you think?
Here's what I see: the center is primarily "light" in color, but the blue "weights" it down, almost as if it is trapped. Add the lasso in a wide border and it will help balance the effect of the lights/darks. I would personally use the red for binding, as it will help tie that color all the way through the quilt.

That's just what my eye sees. You COULD stop now and it would be lovely, too. Either way, some kid's gonna be really loved!

I just don't care for the lasso border, that's what I nnotice first and not the cute prints. I'd do the blue with a narrow red bindiing.

I like the lasso fabric also. It brings out the others.

I have to chime in again, I just love the fabric, which line is it from? I was a little cowgirl and I rode my stick horse around so much it ground the bottom down so bad it became sharp. You coulda' killed a pig with that stick!

I have no grandkids (gotta get the kids out of college first, please) but there could be a few in my future. That would have to be the quilt to use here, though, I don't think I could let that one leave.
