    Barnbum
Your quilt is lovely and bright - it is the overall glow which people notice first and your quilt has that - we do not normally get close enough to scrutinize the work of others looking for faults. It is warm and functional so be proud of it and thanks for sharing.

Guess what??!! I just showed the top to hubby and he loved it! (He doesn't really pay attention until I make him look when it's done. ) So... since we discovered we sleep much better apart (after he had to sleep on the couch for 3 weeks due to a shoulder issue) and have separate bedrooms now he wants it for his bed! Good thing I decided to add those last two rows!! Yay!!

It looks beautiful. Only a quilter would look that close and notice the very small area's where it's ever so slightly off.

barnbum, this is not quilt related, but what is your avatar's name? He or she is sooo sweet! I miss having a dog, but can't manage it right now. I'll be traveling too much to see my soon-to-be grandson 1200 miles away.

p.s. barnbum, it's wonderful that your husband loves your work! It is so beautiful, and the colors are perfect! So is your quilt. Never mind the small imperfections. Everyone's already covered that. Unless your nose was against it, they wouldn't even be noticed.

I have done the same thing myself and it is a very frustrating feeling to have. However after I get it quilted all those unmatched points and seams are not hardly noticed. I think it adds character to our quilts. I am my worse critic.

When I have a top that the seams and points don't match and I make the pattern again I can do a better job. I tend to keep the one with the most mistakes for myself and give the better quilts to others. I think quilting is a learning experience and I love all my quilts that I have learned to create.
Your quilt is Beautiful! You did a wonderful job!!

    1) no one but you will notice a few little boo-boos(remember only God can make something perfect)

    2) you did a fantastic job on choosing fabrics/color

I saw an article that showed if you quilt these with a circular type stitch you can hide a lot of little misses. I love those colors and think you might be surprised when it's finished.

I am riding that horse by very 'slowly' and I think it looks wonderful. I really like the color combo. Was nice of you to share your boo-boos with us but they only look really bad to you. I think anyone you give this to will love it!
