    This is from a future group by Elizabeth's Studio. I'm not sure of the ETA yet. We just ordered it yesterday. I chose the light one... but may order the dark, too, because I ordered the boots and the saddles on the light background. If you want to see pictures of the entire group, it's on our Facebook page:

    We also will have the lariats (on black), the panel, and the belt stripe on black. I think it's going to be a very nice grouping, for anybody who likes cowboy fabrics!

    I think they're called spats. Chaps go over the knee to protect the thigh.

    spats are worn to protect shoes. They are worn by "Dudes". IE. City slickers...............

    Definitely chaps and gloves. Chaps were worn over the pants to protect the legs from the brush and thistles they had to ride through sometimes.
    I definitely like the light one better...the designs show up much better. And yes...this belongs in a cowboy quilt!! I have never seen this particular fabric. Love it!
