    Hi and welcome from another NC resident ..... although I am closer to VA than SC. Good luck with the Mariner's Compass. Guess you will be doing paperpiecing?

    Welcome a board,I also am new to quilting and I live in charlotte also. I was thinking of doing a mariner quilt for my younger brother ,he's 60. I was wondering also if I could find the pattern on line. I'll let you know if I find it & maybe you could do the same. How does that sound?
