Been there done that with the earrings too! Sounds like we have enough to form a club! lol
I also wore a pair of slacks once backwards when I had to bowl in a league. Wouldn't have been so bad but it was years ago amd they had a sewn press down the front of the legs. No one told me about it till we were done bowling! Brats! lol

I used to live an hour's drive from my work in the city...got all suited up one morning and didn't realise 'til I hopped out in the car park near work...I still had my slippers on. Had to drive all the way home and get my work shoes...'phone and explain I was running late and then drive back into the city for a mid morning meeting....From that day on I always kept a spare pair of shoes in my cabinet at work.

I'm a nurse (retired now) and worked in a MD's office. Doing EKGs was one of my duties. The patient had to recline on a table. We had one lady who had the same style shoe in many colors and never got them mixed up. She always wore her shoes on the wrong feet. Knowing that, years ago, that was a treatment for certain foot problems, I never commented. Finally one day I asked her what the problem was that caused her to do that. Her answer, her vision was so poor that she couldn't tell that they were on the wrong feet but she did thank me and said that she had wondered for a long time why her feet were hurting so much. At every subsequent visit, she had her shoes on the correct feet. We laughed together about it at every visit.

I had 2 pairs of shoes that are the same style. One pair black, one pair blue. After working all day I went to the dentist. When I sat in the chair I noticed I had one blue and one black shoe. I also did the same thing at least one other time.
